IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 2026
Players should attend team formations for their birth year. In the TeamSnap registration, players will automatically be added to their birth-year team formation. If they want to play for an older team, they are also asked to attend those formations as well. There is a pull-down menu in the registration where you indicate which other formation your player will attend. Please email our registrar, Jon Fredeen (registrar@dakotasc.com) if your player wants to register for an additional birth year team formation.
Please see the Team Formation Schedule for the dates and times by age group. PLEASE NOTE: TEAM FORMATIONS FOR THE U15 AND U16 GIRLS TEAMS ARE STILL TO BE DETERMINED. AS SOON AS A TIME AND DATE HAS BEEN DECIDED, WE WILL SEND OUT ANOTHER UPDATE.
Formations will be held at McMorrow Field.
Those players who are unable to attend team formations have a more limited overall individual evaluation used for team placement. If your player cannot attend the scheduled team formations, please contact our Director of Coaching, Jake Smothers (contact information at bottom of email). If your player cannot attend team formations, please still register them -- this is how we know if your player is interested in being on a team.

- Add Participant Info [you can register all of your players in this one spot; to add another player, either click on the Import Participant (if existing player) or Add Participant (if new player) button].
- Add Parent Info.
- Enter payment info. The team formation fee is $50 per player plus a $1.99 processing fee. For U9 and U10, registration for team formations is free. This fee is not refundable if Dakota Soccer is able to place your player on a team. If Dakota Soccer is not able to place your player on a team, you will have your $50 refunded.
SUMMER 2026 SOCCER REGISTRATION
After the team formation process is complete and rosters have been published, Summer 2026 registration will be made available. If your player registered and took part in the team formation process, the $50 fee will be applied to your summer registration fee. Registering for Summer 2026 Dakota Soccer indicates acceptance of your roster spot.
