Summer 2027 TEAM FORMATIONS REGISTRATION is now online. Please visit https://register.teamsnap.com/form/YuAgaKzUP3fOi7Ap97QJP  to register your player for team formations.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 2027

Effective with the 2026-2027 soccer season, US Club Soccer is switching to a school-year-based age group system. This change will affect the method by which Dakota Soccer Club forms competitive/traveling teams for next summer (currently, we use a "birth year" method).  Please see email sent on Saturday, June 20 for additional information.

TEAM FORMATION SCHEDULE + AGE-GROUP MATRIX

Team formations will be held on the following days (see schedule below the age group matrix):

• U9-U12 | Monday, July 13, 2026 at McMorrow Field
• U13+ | Thursday, July 30, 2026 at McMorrow Field

Please use the matrix below to determine your player's age group for the 2026-2027 season using the SCHOOL-YEAR AGE GROUP.

 

Those players who are unable to attend team formations have a more limited overall individual evaluation used for team placement. If your player cannot attend the scheduled team formations, please contact our Director of Coaching, Jake Smothers (docgirls@dakotasc.org). If your player cannot attend team formations, please still register them -- this is how we know if your player is interested in being on a team. 

The team formation fee is $50 per player plus a $1.99 processing fee. For U9 and U10, registration for team formations is free. This fee is not refundable if Dakota Soccer is able to place your player on a team. If Dakota Soccer is not able to place your player on a team, you will have your $50 refunded.

SUMMER 2027 SOCCER REGISTRATION

After the team formation process is complete and rosters have been published, Summer 2027 registration will be made available. If your player registered and took part in the team formation process, the $50 fee will be applied to your summer registration fee. Registering for Summer 2027 Dakota Soccer indicates acceptance of your roster spot.
