Important Information For 2023 Team Formations

Players should attend team formations for their birth year. In the TeamSnap registration, players will automatically be added to their birth-year team formation. If they want to play for an older team, they are also asked to attend those formations as well. There is a pull-down menu in the registration where you indicate which other formation your player will attend.

Please email our registrar, Jon Fredeen (registrar@dakotasc.org) if your player wants to register for an additional birth year team formation.

Formations will be held at McMorrow Field.

We have two formations scheduled for each age group (U11+) this year. Attendance at the first session is required. The second session will be held as needed based on numbers. The club will let players know whether they need to attend the second formation.

Players should bring plenty of water and all necessary soccer gear (cleats, shin guards, etc)

Those players who are unable to attend team formations have a more limited overall individual evaluation used for team placement. If your player cannot attend either of the two scheduled team formations, please contact our Director of Coaching, Jake Smothers (contact information at bottom of email).

TO REGISTER YOUR PLAYER FOR TEAM FORMATIONS

  • Please click on this link to go to our registration page: https://go.teamsnap.com/forms/326510. If you do not already have a TeamSnap account, create one on the TeamSnap website. If you already have one, log in to begin the registration.
  • Add Participant Info [you can register all of your players in this one spot; to add another player, either click on the Import Participant (if existing player) or Add Participant (if new player) button].
  • Add Parent Info.
  • Enter payment info. The team formation fee is $50 per player plus a $1.99 processing fee. For U9 and U10, registration for team formations is free. This fee is not refundable if Dakota Soccer is able to place your player on a team. If Dakota Soccer is not able to place your player on a team, you will have your $50 refunded.
